Safety Officer III (For Construction Project), Manila

Description

Implement policies for project site and workplace in accordance with OSH Standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards, unsafe working conditions, and practices.
Ensure that all workers wear proper protective equipment.
Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for employees to raise awareness about safety protocols, emergency procedures, and accident prevention.
Prepare work permit for project site
Prepare job hazard analysis, risk assessment and safety program.
Attend safety meetings at the project site.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
Develop emergency response plans and procedures, conduct drills, and ensure readiness to respond to emergencies effectively.
Performs such other functions that maybe assigned from time to time.

College graduate
Completed at least 40hrs of COSH and BOSH
At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction or site-based safety management.
Experienced in conducting daily safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and accident investigations.
Good knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and applicable laws
