Description

Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity.
Advise driver on proper vehicle use.
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks).
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
Keep logs on work and issues.
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
Drive for delivery as needed.
Perform minor and major mechanical repairs.
Do welding and fabrication works.
Service vehicles according to established preventive maintenance schedules.
Rotate and balance tires; change oil and filters; lubricate vehicle parts; inspect and replace hoses, belts, mirrors, lamps; and maintain all fluid levels.
Perform preventive maintenance, including bleeding of air tanks, on shop equipment according to established schedules.
Help keep motor pool, equipment, and tools in safe operating condition.
Conduct preventive maintenance.
Monitor all mechanics tasks.
Evaluate all parts to be replaced.
Perform other tasks as prescribed by management.
