User Research Manager, Manila

We are a leading furniture e-commerce company dedicated to providing high-quality home furnishings and exceptional customer experiences. As we continue to grow, were looking for a professional user expert to join our team! 

1. Conduct in-depth interviews with users in the European and American markets to uncover core needs and pain points related to furniture products (e.g., functionality, design, materials, pricing). 

2. Design and execute qualitative research (e.g., one-on-one interviews, focus groups) and quantitative surveys (questionnaire design, data analysis), identifying user behavior patterns and market trends. 

3. Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to translate user insights into actionable product optimization recommendations and market strategies. 

4. Track trends in the European and American furniture industry, analyze competitors product strategies, and produce regular market research reports. 

5. Build and maintain a diverse and representative user database for the European and American markets, ensuring varied and representative research participants (e.g., different family structures, consumption levels, regional differences). 

1. 3-5 years of experience in user research, market research, or product management, with familiarity with European and American market culture and consumer behavior; experience in the furniture/home goods industry is preferred. 

2. Proficient in qualitative research methods (in-depth interviews, fieldwork, user journey mapping) and tools (e.g., Nvivo, Dovetail). 

3. Basic quantitative analysis skills (questionnaire design, SPSS/Excel data processing). 

4. Excellent cross-cultural communication skills to accurately capture latent needs of non-native speakers. 

5. Fluency in both Chinese and English (required for conducting independent English interviews and report writing).

Location: Philippines

Job Type: Full-time. 2 days rest on weekends

Salary: Competitive salary, will raise it for the government mandated insurance and benefits after 3-6 months
