Description

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, etc.)
Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify problems accurately
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance
Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed
Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and recommended services
Follow safety standards and keep the work area clean and organized

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as an auto mechanic or similar role
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical)
Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and manual dexterity
Good communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
