Job Description:

• The Accounting Head is responsible for overseeing the overall financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and the implementation of effective financial controls. This role provides strategic financial guidance to support business decisions and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily financial operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, payroll, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documentation.
• Develop and monitor budgets, financial plans, and cost control measures.
• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with various departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
• Continuously improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Proven leadership experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
