QC Laboratory Microbiologist and Analyst, Bulacan

Role Purpose: To verify the microbiological and physico-chemical safety of all materials and finished products.

Core Responsibilities:

oConduct microbiological analysis (YMR, TC, etc.) and physico-chemical testing.

oPerform sensory evaluations on internal and external samples.

oManage and execute shelf-life monitoring programs.

oPerform environmental swabbing and air count monitoring.

oDecontaminate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.

oAuthorize and release analysis results.

Accountabilities: Accuracy of lab results; Timely reporting of non-conformities; Integrity of lab procedures.

Reporting: Micro & Physico-Chem Reports; COA Preparation; Shelf-Life Monitoring Log; Monthly Lab Summary.

Area of Expertise

Microbiological Analysis: Proficiency in conducting tests such as Total Count (TC) and Yeast and Mold Count (YMR).

Physico-Chemical Testing: Experience in verifying the chemical safety and physical properties of materials and finished products.

Quality Assurance & Compliance: Expertise in environmental swabbing, air count monitoring, and managing shelf-life programs.

Laboratory Management: Knowledge of decontaminating, calibrating, and maintaining sensitive lab equipment.

Educational Background

Degree Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or Food Science to perform the technical microbiological and physico-chemical analyses required.

Professional Certification: Given the responsibility to authorize and release results, a professional license (e.g., Registered Microbiologist or Chemist) is often preferred or required for regulatory integrity.
