Production Supervisor, Bulacan

Promotes and implements the production plan while addressing cost, quality, food safety, and product availability at the right time at maximum efficiency of manpower, machines, and utilities. They are responsible for implementing company rules and regulations as well as cascading information to subordinates. They also emphasize productivity, efficiencym and high yield of operations.

Qualifications:

- At least college graduate, preferably food technology, chemical engineering, and other related courses

- At least two (2) years experience in related field preferably in contact food manufacture/frozen meat processing

Duties, Responsibilities, Authorities, and Accountabilities

1. Production Planning and Execution

Ensures production targets are met in accordance with company and customer quality standards, while improving production yields through analysis and recommendations. Plans manpower schedules and processing sequences to meet production schedules within cost limits, and ensures machines operate at proper capacity, calibration, and labeling

2. Operational Oversight and Quality Control

Coordinates with various departments to address issues related to scheduling, labor, equipment, utilities, and facilities that may affect operations. Ensures compliance with SOPs, GMP, and quality and food safety standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-sanitized workplace. Investigates operational deviations, coordinates with QA on quality concerns, implements corrective actions, and reports food safety and quality issues to the supervisor and QA.

3. Personnel Management and Leadership

Supervises and analyzes production processes to improve efficiency while overseeing and training production workers. Conducts daily briefings, monitors output and manpower, and ensures compliance with company policies through guidance and discipline. Evaluates employee performance, provides counseling for improvement, and develops personnel for higher roles or sustained performance.

4. Reporting and Documentation

Prepares and reviews production reports and schedules to ensure accuracy, timely submission, and availability of materials, manpower, and resources. Ensures machine operators are properly trained and certified, monitors production records and consumable stock levels, and analyzes machine and equipment layout. Reports operational issues related to quality, capacity, equipment, or labor and provides timely updates to the production head

5. Administrative and Miscellaneous

Handles administrative sanctions and resolves personnel issues by investigating concerns and recommending appropriate actions. Manages complaints and misoperations within the area, implements corrective and preventive measures, and prepares attendance records of production workers. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
