Description

Establish, maintain and review the site strategy for the management of Occupational Health, Safety and Risk throughout the site and to monitor and report on its operation. This to be carried out in consultation with the Management.
Ensures 100% compliance to Basic Warehouse Safety Standards and Good Warehousing Practices while inside.
Establish a site risk management policy and necessary contingency plans to minimize the consequences of any foreseeable incident.
Establish the different specialized related teams (Crisis and Safety Committees, Fire Brigade, First Aid teams, ERT, etc.) as required to respond to particular issues and develop training and make recommendations.
Establish, Maintain and review the site organizational measures to guarantee the protection of the physical and intellectual properties of the sites.
Ensure to follow up of the accident situation, the analysis and determination of accidents causes, advise management about preventive and corrective measures.
Prepares a summary and evaluation of incident/accident reports and make recommendation for prevention.
Ensures updated and on-time scorecard and reports.
Seeks opportunity for improvement for the whole operation flow.
Ensure systematic filing of documents based on standards.
Contribute to the elaboration and implementation of a safety concepts in important construction or installation projects.
Actively participate on all SH& E programs and projects.
Ensures excellent performance on his/ her assigned Mini-Business Unit.
Ensure the follow-up of SHE related issues and programs.
Monitor and evaluate newly implemented system and identify possible flaws during execution.
Ensure that arrangements are in place to make the Management, Heads and Staff aware of legal obligations relating to Occupational Health, Safety and Risk.
Supervise and help to create, organize, equip and train the different specialized groups dealing with safety and / or security, such as Safety Committee, Evacuation Team, Internal Fire Brigade and First Aid Team.
Organize for the different units a continuous safety education and training program for management and employees.
Observes own safety responsibility while delivering tasks inside the premises.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by immediate Head.
