Pollution Control Officer, Bulacan

Description

Coordinate reports on environmental incidents, dangerous occurrences, injuries and accidents.
Monitor and prepare reports to government agencies including but not limited to DENR.
Conduct site induction, training forum and toolbox talk, as appropriate, to provide instruction on specific Environmental, Safety and Health concerns.
Assist the team with the assessment and production of suitable environmental and safety measures, method statements and reports to satisfy the requirements of this plan.
Stay abreast of the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) and Project requirements on pollution control.
Monitor activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source.
Attend to the requirements of the establishment or agency prior to the construction.
Perform such other duties and tasks as maybe assigned from time to time by the Management

A bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field is typically required.
Environmental certifications: Certifications such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) can demonstrate expertise in the field.
Regulatory knowledge: A deep understanding of environmental regulations, such as those related to air pollution, water pollution, and waste management, is crucial.
Technical skills: Proficiency in using environmental monitoring equipment, data analysis tools, and software is essential.
Experience: Practical experience in pollution control, environmental compliance, or a related field can be valuable. Other Qualifications Knowledge of IFC PS requirements is preferred
