QA/QC Engineer, Muntinlupa

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance (QA): Focuses on preventing defects by designing processes, procedures, and Project Quality Plans (PQP).
• Quality Control (QC): Focuses on detecting defects by executing testing, conducting inspections, and verifying that deliverables match requirements.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all work aligns with local building codes, international ISO Standards, and client guidelines.
• Documentation Management: Review Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), material approvals, and calibration certificates.

Core Duties

• Conduct Inspections: Perform visual and functional tests on materials, equipment, and ongoing work to ensure they pass standard requirements.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR): Identify poor workmanship or flawed materials, document discrepancies, and ensure remedial actions are taken.
• Handle Punch Lists: Track outstanding or incomplete items during project turnover and ensure they are resolved before final handover.
• Coordinate with Stakeholders: Act as the liaison between project managers, contractors, clients, and third-party inspectors regarding quality issues and solutions.
• Data & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports and maintain an organized, trackable document control system. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (typically Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
• License/Certifications: Professional Engineering (PE) license or Registered Engineer status (e.g., in the Philippines, a Licensed Civil Engineer) is highly preferred. Certifications like ISO 9001 internal auditing are a major advantage.
• Experience: Typically \(3+\) years of relevant experience in QA/QC or a closely related role within the target industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in reading technical drawings/blueprints, and excellent written and verbal communication.
