Description

The Accounting Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of accounting reports, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

-Record and maintain daily accounting transactions (AP, AR, General Ledger)

-Prepare journal entries, schedules, and supporting documents

-Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions

-Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

-Process accounts payable and receivable, including billing and collections

-Ensure compliance with BIR requirements, including tax filings and reports

-Assist during internal and external audits

-Maintain organized and complete accounting records and files

-Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions

-Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned


Job Requirements

-Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related course

-At least 23 years of accounting experience (depending on company needs)

-Knowledge of basic accounting principles and taxation

-Experience using accounting software and MS Excel

-Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills

-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
