Accounting Specialist, Muntinlupa

Responsibilities:

Voucher Preparation; Disbursement

• Prepare payment vouchers and verify supporting documents.
• Process disbursements and maintain organized records of transactions.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documentation.

Bookkeeping; Financial Records

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain general and subsidiary ledger accounts.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure proper documentation of entries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Compliance, Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely tax computations, filing, and payment.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for management.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Assist in day to day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
• Enter financial transactions into accounting software and maintain organized records
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close processes
• Monitor and track outstanding payments and follow up on collections
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes
• Support the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements and other statements as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
• Bank reconciliation
