Responsible for planning, leading, organizing, controlling construction, project management, quality control, materials and equipment management, and administrative functions, as well as implementing environmental health and safety programs, with the objective of achieving customer satisfaction and profitability of the assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Organization
- Initiates effective planning and organizing for all assigned projects to ensure completion in accordance with specifications and customer delivery requirements
- Organizes pre-construction meetings using Pre-mobilization checklists as a guide to coordinate all functional units, ensuring all necessary requirements are completed for mobilization within the customers timetable
- Determines and recommends the team to manage the project and defines performance standards
- Leads the project team in the preparation and submission of approved Gantt charts, manpower, materials, equipment and logistics plans, and engineering plans/drawings prior to mobilization
- Manages the preparation and completion of all documents required to secure necessary permits and documentation prior to mobilization
2. Project Execution and Control
- Directly manages the effective execution of the construction plan to achieve project completion in compliance with customer specifications and timetable, within set budget and quality standards
- Monitors the progress of daily work activities through daily reports, performance evaluations, and actual inspections; keeps track of daily accomplishments against plan and initiates recovery measures in case of delays; updates performance reports daily
- Conducts daily site inspections to monitor the actual status of the projects
- Analyzes actual expenses incurred and compares them to the budget
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Leads the Project Team in developing and maintaining harmonious relationships with current and potential customers
4. Materials and Equipment Management
- Manages the receipts, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment for all projects
- Conducts periodic verification of the inventory at site and ensures proper safekeeping and implementation of controls
- Performs random checks of inventory records to ensure that all transactions are completely documented, properly stored, and all stocks are accounted for
- Checks strict implementation of preventive maintenance of equipment and tools
- Ensures excess project materials are returned to the Tool room while scrap materials are properly retrieved and disposed of in accordance with established policies and procedures
5. Supplier and Subcontractor Management
- Participates in conducting suppliers and subcontractors accreditation audits
