About the Role:

• The Product Owner for Industrial Automation is responsible for owning and maintaining the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for assigned automation platforms or solutions.
• Ensures alignment between business objectives, market needs, and technical capabilities.
• Manages cross-functional collaboration throughout the product lifecycle from concept to deployment and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for assigned automation platforms or solutions.
• Define product strategies and positioning based on market research, competitor analysis, and internal capabilities.
• Translate high-level business goals into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems integration teams to ensure feasibility and timely delivery.
• Prioritize and manage multiple initiatives while aligning with company goals and client expectations.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to implementation and post-launch improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, automation protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor product performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Industrial equivalent).
• Minimum of 56 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 34 years in project management or a lead role.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation project implementation in sectors such as manufacturing, water and wastewater, power, and energy.
• Background in project execution, continuous improvement, process design, and automation optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Ability to travel and interact effectively across all organizational levels.
• Hands-on experience in automation/electrical solutions and software coding.
• Proficiency in Figma and ClickUp is preferred.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and motivation skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
