The Senior Claims Assistant Motor Claims is responsible for the accurate and timely processing, settlement, and management of motor insurance claims. This role involves close coordination with reinsurers, third parties, and legal teams to ensure efficient claims recoveries. The position requires strong technical knowledge of non-life insurance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to handle complex cases while complying with company policies, legal, and regulatory standards.

• Efficiently process motor claims ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with claims guidelines
• Coordinate with reinsurers for claims submissions, acknowledgments, and recoveries
• Handle inward reinsurance claims ensuring immediate settlement supported by complete documentation
• Liaise with Legal for third-party claims recoveries, targeting 50%-100% recovery of claim expenses through negotiation and follow-ups
• Perform additional duties assigned by management to support overall claims operations
• Occasionally conduct training sessions for branches and agents on claims processes, settlements, and procedures
• Participate in claims-related meetings, including those with the Insurance Commission and agents

• Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably in Management, Accounting, or related fields
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in non-life insurance, preferably in claims processing
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases)
• Strong knowledge of motor claims and basic non-life insurance principles
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical abilities
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing deadlines
• Resilient, adaptable, and demonstrates a positive, innovative mindset
• Ability to influence and engage senior management and external stakeholders
