Accounting Specialist, Muntinlupa

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely filing and payment of taxes (monthly, quarterly and annual) LGU & BIR Compliance
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of accounting staff in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain compliance with internal accounting controls and recommend improvements as needed.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior accounting staff.
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned by senior management.

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related course
• 25 years accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and audit procedures
• High attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills
