Cost Engineer, Muntinlupa

1. Cost Estimation & Analysis

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates based on project drawings, specifications, and scope.

2. Budget Monitoring & Cost Tracking

• Monitor actual project costs against approved budgets and estimates.
• Identify and report cost variances and potential overruns to management in a timely manner.

3. Procurement Coordination Support

• Provide material take-offs and quantity verifications to support procurement planning.
• Review supplier quotations to confirm consistency with project estimates.

4. Quantity Take-Offs & BOQ Preparation

• Perform accurate quantity take-offs from mechanical/HVAC drawings and specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in line with project requirements.
• Validate received materials and submittals against BOQs for compliance.

5. Documentation & Record-Keeping

• Maintain organized records of cost estimates, revisions, costing sheets, and final BOQs.

6. Collaboration with Project Teams

• Work closely with Engineers and Project Managers to align cost planning with actual field conditions.
• Participate in site meetings to provide cost-related insights and updates.
• Propose value engineering options when applicable to optimize cost-efficiency.

7. Accuracy, Timeliness & Output Quality

• Deliver high-quality cost documents, estimates, and reports on schedule with minimal errors.
• Uphold quality standards and accuracy in all deliverables under tight timelines.
• Demonstrate reliability and diligence in completing assigned tasks.

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably has 12 years experience in cost estimation and budgeting within the HVAC or mechanical construction industry.
• Fresh Graduates who are willing to learn are welcome to apply.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
