Safety Engineer, Manila

The Safety Engineer ensures the safety, security, and efficient operation of all company facilities. This role includes implementing and monitoring safety policies, managing security operations, overseeing building maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct daily safety, security, and environmental inspections.
• Investigate incidents and report findings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support emergency response teams and act as Assistant Incident Commander during emergencies.
• Manage contracts for services such as security, maintenance, and cleaning.
• Supervise facility operations to ensure they are fully functional and compliant.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair work and oversee facility budgets.
• Provide designs, cost estimates, and project planning for facility improvements.
• Advise management on operational risks and improvements.
