The Automation Specialist is responsible for design, implementation, and management of automated processes and workflows.

STATEMENT OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for design, implementation, and management of automated processes and workflows
• Responsible for the analysis of the as-is process and re-design to improve efficiency.
• Responsible for developing the automation solution supporting to be process using various automation technologies.
• Gather facts through primary and secondary research, structured and unstructured interviews, surveys, and process analysis.
• Understands business processes, identify routine or repetitive tasks that could be automated.
• Studies complex processes and plans how they could be automated in the long term with a clear timeline.
• Develops reliable macros, data processing tools through MS Excel and knowledge on Power Automate and Python (or other languages) to make simple program/ scripts.
• Resolve tool concerns of entire data team.
• Explore possibilities of using Machine Learning and AI to automate complex processes
• Execute all tool/automation requirements of the Business Process & Improvement Lead
• Design and implement efficient solutions that meet functional requirements and are extensible and easily maintained.
• Independently manage and communicate timelines against established project plans.
• Assists in technical and functional specifications.
• Provides regular status and progress updates to concerned parties.
