Accounting Assistant (Accounts Receivable), Makati

1.  Maintains customer records and information

2.  Record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts

3.  Monitor overdue accounts, locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail, telephone, or personal visits to solicit payment

4.  Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts

5.  Receive payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts

6.  Sort and file correspondence and perform miscellaneous clerical duties

7.  Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts, such as recording address changes and purging the records of old and dormant customers

8.  Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions form lock box and local deposits

9.  Updates aging of receivables by totaling unpaid invoices per customer

10.   Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices

11.   Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries

12.   Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential

13.   Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report on a daily, weekly & monthly basis

Accomplishes financial reports and management requirements by collaborating with the General Accountants in conjunction with the accounting and organizations mission and vision
