Invoice Processing:

• Receive, verify, and process invoices from vendors, ensuring proper coding and approvals before payment.

Payment Processing:

• Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card payments.

Vendor Management:

• Maintain vendor records, resolve inquiries, and ensure all payments are made according to terms.

Reconciliations:

• Reconcile vendor statements with accounts payable records and investigate discrepancies.

Reporting:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts payable reports, including aging reports and payment history.

Data Entry:

• Accurately enter invoice details into the accounting system and ensure proper documentation is attached.

Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements in all accounts payable transactions.

Month-End Close:

• Assist with month-end closing processes by ensuring that all invoices and payments are accurately recorded in the general ledger.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues or answer queries regarding payments.
