Local Supermarket Procurement Specialist, Makati

We are a leading supermarket located in the Makati Business District, Manila, committed to providing high-quality products and services to our customers. As our business expands, we are seeking an experienced and locally knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Local Procurement Specialist.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement of local products, including but not limited to food items and daily necessities.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with local suppliers.
• Have a deep understanding of the local market, knowing which products will sell well and being able to predict and manage the sales velocity of products.
• Accurately gauge the sales speed of products and procure and restock in a timely manner to ensure product availability on the shelves.
• Monitor inventory levels, optimize inventory management, and reduce instances of overstocking or stockouts.
• Collaborate with the sales team to adjust procurement strategies based on market demands.
• Negotiate and execute procurement contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Regularly analyze sales data and propose improvements to the procurement process and enhance sales efficiency.
