Senior Service Engineer (Meat Processing), Mandaluyong

The Senior Service Engineer provides timely and proper technical service support to Rieckermann Philippines customers that focuses on meat processing equipment. This includes installations, reinstallations, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance for complex and conventional machines. 

Technical Service: Provide installation, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment (meat processing) and solutions for customers

• Installation of variety of meat processing equipment including smoke houses, thawing machines, grinding machines, cutting machines, slicing machines, injectors, bandsaws, etc.
• Preventive maintenance
• Perform emergency service at the customers site, if needed 
• Troubleshoot via phone, email or in person
• Email communication with machine manufactures for troubleshooting support and technical clarifications
• Attend meetings with regards to installations, service matters, technical solutions, and administrative matters of the company
• Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments to offer solutions that fulfill the customers needs

Reporting: Ensure accurate reporting concerning operations and services

• Provide customer with service/installation reports
• Submit service reports and job cards/time sheets to manager 
• Gather and report information at customer site regarding process and quality concerns, to create new business opportunities

Spare Parts: Recommend spare parts to customers

• Provide information and help customer to upgrade/retrofit their machine (spare parts recommendation)
• Cost-conscious and sensitive handling of spare parts and work equipment

Customer Relationship: Develop, establish and maintain long-term, positive relationships with customers

• Train customers to operate/maintain machine
• Provide excellent service to customers by giving undivided attention and focus on meeting their needs
• Anticipate questions, concerns, and future issues and provide solutions, which will consistently result in repeated business and word of mouth referrals and increased quality of service providing
• Find solutions to customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

Mentoring: Mentor service engineers by providing hands-on training in machinery operations, troubleshooting, and best practices

• Guiding service engineers through complex installations and repairs, ensuring skill development
• Providing regular feedback on performance and offering support to improve their technical skills
• Encouraging leadership development and promoting teamwork within the department
