- Conducts regular inventory and monitoring of base stock and emergency-cart medicines, including their expiration dates, located in the respective satellite pharmacies
- Prepares (if necessary), dispenses and ensures the availability of ordered medications in the respective satellite pharmacy
- Provides written and verbal counseling concerning medication use and other drug information that is suitable to the patient needs
- Assures the completeness and interprets appropriateness of a medication order or request including age-related factors, before preparing or permitting the distribution of drug products
- Ensures proper storage and arrangement of antineoplastic drugs in a dedicated, clearly marked storage area
