Glass Lewis & Co. is currently seeking to hire an Operations Associate for the Research Operations team. Our ideal candidate is detail-orientated and has excellent computer skills, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Glass Lewis provides research and voting recommendations to Institutional Investors with a vested interest in Publicly Traded Companies can vote on upcoming Company AGMs & EGMs. The Operations Team provides a support function for this and is responsible for the management of all incoming and outgoing data, ensuring all Clients ballots are voted accurately and on time.

The main responsibilities of a RESEARCH OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE (PROJECT-BASED) include:

• Setting up Shells for Proxy Papers and assigning correct workflows.
• Document Procurement for assigned markets.
• Alerting the Research Teamin the event of an updated agenda.
• Liaising with other Stakeholders for Reconciliation purposes.
• Creation of Coverage Lists for assigned markets.
• Assisting in Reporting and Auditing Functions of Research Operations Team as requested.
• Process votes on behalf of key clients for issuer meetings and audit vote files for accuracy.
• Assist with the management of incoming and outgoing proxy related data within our in-house web-based Client application.
• Evaluate and reconcile rejecting/bad data, identifying and resolving the issue in a timely manner to ensure data integrity.
• Assist with the Operations team goal of managing the creation, maintenance, closure and auditing of all accounts on behalf of our clientssome of whom are the worlds largest institutional investors.
• Liaise with client and global custody bank contacts to ensure Service Level Agreement timelines are met.
• Performing other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
