Description

I. Position Summary:

 

To call on customer accounts and make sure that payment/collections are made on a timely manner. The Credit and Collection Assistant will contribute to the department's quality and continuous improvement efforts,

support domestic and international offices as needed in trade finance matters,

commit to excellent customer service and deliver results to management.

 

II. Job duties and responsibilities:

 

  • To call and monitor accounts:
  • To call and monitor all CODs (Cash on delivery), Payment with Terms and Consignment accounts.
  • To do scanning, filing and encoding of Invoices.
  • To encode all used official receipt (OR).
  • To print and file Statement of accounts (SOA).
  • To handle/safe keep accounts requirements.
  • To print white form and other collection forms whenever needed. 
  • To monitor Collectors log book, collectors daily call report and collectors daily collection
  • To monitor all Account Receivables and give suggestions on how to decrease overdue accounts.
  • Visiting special accounts if needed and do collection function.
  • Suggests better ideas for the development of the department that can also result in performance improvement 
  • Responding to inter-office and client emails concerning to credit and collection.
  • Maintain positive work attitudes and be able to work harmoniously with other employees. 
  • Other work-related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.
