QA/QC ENGINEER- PAMPANGA AREA, Makati

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the quality of materials and workmanship on construction projects meets the required standards and specifications. This role involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and working closely with project teams to resolve any quality-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Planning:

Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) plans for construction projects.

Establish standards and procedures for project execution and documentation.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Inspections and Testing:

Conduct regular inspections and tests of materials, equipment, and workmanship.

Oversee third-party testing and inspection services.

Verify that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.

Prepare and submit QA/QC reports to project managers and stakeholders.

Document non-conformities and corrective actions taken.

Non-Conformance Management:

 Identify and document any non-conformances or defects in the work.

Develop and implement corrective action plans to address non-conformities.

Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are effectively implemented.

Coordination and Communication:

Coordinate QA/QC activities with construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Provide guidance and training on quality control procedures and standards.

Communicate quality issues and resolutions to project stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

 Analyze QA/QC data and feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Recommend and implement improvements to QA/QC processes and practices.

Promote a culture of quality within the project team.

Compliance and Auditing:

Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.

Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to QA/QC procedures.

Prepare for and participate in external audits and inspections.
