Pollution Control Officer, Batangas

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to Philippine Environmental Laws (e.g., Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act) and DENR regulations.
• Monitoring & Auditing: Oversee ambient air, water, and stack emissions monitoring; inspect operations for compliance.
• Waste Management: Manage proper disposal, treatment, and storage of solid and hazardous waste.
• Permitting: Secure, update, and maintain necessary environmental permits (e.g., Discharge Permit, Permit to Operate).
• Training: Conduct environmental awareness training, site inductions, and safety briefings for employees.
• Incident Response: Investigate environmental incidents, implement corrective actions, and report to authorities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, compliance reports, and manifest forms (for hazardous waste).
