Description

Monitor patients comfort during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patients responses
Explain testing procedures to patients to obtain cooperation and reduce anxiety
Conduct electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, stress testing, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, holter monitoring or other cardiovascular tests to record patients cardiac activity
Check, test, and maintain cardiology equipment, making minor repairs when necessary to make sure proper operation
Supervise or train other cardiology technologists or students
Type and encode primary result before the cardiologist reading
Work as a medical secretary for cardiologist
Receive and answer phone/personal queries from patient and relative
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality prior and after the test and processed monthly reports for department performance
Performed other task that may be assigned by the management
