Biomedical Technician, Batangas

Description

Performs tests, repairs, calibrates and maintains medical equipment.
Disassembles equipment and adjusts, troubleshoots and replaces faulty and worn mechanical parts.
Maintains detailed record of repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance on all medical equipment.
Assures that equipments are in compliance with the medical facilities standards and best practices.
Consistently consults with the medical staff, instructing them on the operation of equipment and any issues with regard to its functionality.
Responsible for notifying the supplier and/in service provider regarding the repair words needed in particular equipment.
In charge of receiving warranty, operating manuals, and schematic diagrams of the equipment from the supplier.
Prepare and schedule preventive maintenance of all equipment.
Serves as one of the representative in the acceptance of the newly acquired equipment and seeing to it that the equipment delivered are in conformance with the specification as described in the Purchase order.
Serves as consultant to management during the process of acquiring a new medical equipment and evaluates and makes recommendations prior to its purchase or rental of equipment.

Job Requirements

At least vocational course specializing in Biomedical Technician
Minimum of six (6) months related experience or without experience for entry level
Skilled on all medical equipment. Hardworking, matured and with leadership skills.
