Description

Receives specimen; blood, urine, stool and other body fluids.
Performs phlebotomy and skin puncture.
Prepares working reagent/solutions, check and discard deteriorated and expire reagents
and blood units.
Performs routine Chemical, Hematological and Immunological exams.
Microscopically examines blood, urine and stool.
Performs analyses on blood samples for glucose, uric acid, creatinine, and lipid profile
determinations.
Type and cross-match blood samples for transfusion.
Prepares reports and maintains records of laboratory tests conducted.
Provides quality control surveillance at various levels.
Prepares releases and records results of the tests conducted.
Performs complex Chemical, Hematological, and Immunological, microscopic and
bacteriological tests.
Microscopically examine blood, and other body substances.
Analyze samples for chemical contents or reaction and determine blood glucose and
cholesterol levels and other clinical chemistry examinations.
