About the Job:

Administrative Accounting Assistants are responsible for handling tasks related to accounting and finances of a restaurant.

They are expected to handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, prepare invoices, and manage or create financial records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recording transactions in the general ledgerthe master document for capturing financial transactions, and accurately coding and categorizing those transactions, especially expenses. 
• Creating financial statements to determine financial health of the restaurant including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements.
• Handle basic financial tasks such as data collection such as managing the restaurants inventory management, as well as the payroll.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Develop strategies for cost-saving initiatives and contribute to restaurants financial success.
• Track and record expenses and reconciled accounts to maintain accurate, current and compliant financial records.
