Safe Operation: Operate the truck safely, following traffic laws and regulations, and prioritizing safety.
Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Log Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and other relevant information.
Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding deliveries and any issues that arise.
Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing and balancing.
Vehicle Inspection: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as refueling and cleaning.
Paperwork: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery records and trip logs.
Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers during deliveries.
Incident Reporting: Report any accidents, incidents, or violations to the appropriate authorities.
