Key Responsibilities

• Driving & Delivery: Transport goods over long distances or locally, planning efficient routes using GPS.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of tires, lights, brakes, and fluid levels. Report mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
• Cargo Handling: Load, unload, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and hours of service (logbooks).
• Communication: Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely delivery and update on potential delays.
