Description

A Food Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service in food service establishments, such as restaurants, cafeterias, or fast-food outlets.
They assist with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
Greeting Customers: Welcome guests, take their orders, and ensure they are satisfied with the service.
Taking Orders: Accurately record customers' food and drink orders, relay orders to kitchen staff, and handle special dietary requests.
Serving Food: Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly, ensuring proper portion sizes, presentation, and temperature.
Handling Payments: Process customer payments using cash registers, point-of-sale systems, or payment apps. Handle cash, credit cards, and provide change.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure dining areas are clean, tables are cleared, and floors are swept regularly.
Stocking Supplies: Refill condiments, utensils, napkins, and other service supplies as needed.
Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, such as keeping food at appropriate temperatures and washing hands regularly.
Collaborating with Team: Work alongside kitchen staff, waitstaff, and managers to ensure smooth operations.
