Job Description:
Serving Food and Beverages: Food attendants take customer orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure that meals are delivered to the table efficiently.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues or complaints when necessary.
Food Preparation Assistance: In some cases, assist with basic food preparation or help kitchen staff in preparing meals, such as setting up food stations or serving pre-made items.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing dishes, setting tables, and ensuring that the restaurant environment is welcoming.
Stocking and Inventory: Refill supplies (such as condiments, napkins, etc.), keep track of food and drink stock, and notify management when items need to be reordered.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that food handling and safety standards are followed, including keeping work areas clean and ensuring proper hygiene.
Cash Handling: In some cases, food attendants may handle payments, process cash or credit transactions, and give change.
