A Food Attendant is responsible for ensuring customers have an enjoyable dining experience. Their primary role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders and ensure accuracy before submitting them to the kitchen or bar.
Address customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests.
Serving Food and Beverages:
Serve food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner.
Ensure proper portion control and presentation of food.
Refill drinks and clear empty plates from the table.
Maintenance of Cleanliness:
Clean and set tables before and after each service.
Maintain cleanliness in dining areas and kitchen workstations.
Wash and sanitize glasses, utensils, and plates as needed.
Inventory and Stocking:
Ensure sufficient supplies of food and beverage items are available.
Notify supervisors about low stock levels or any items that need to be restocked.
Cash Handling:
Process customer payments accurately.
Operate a cash register or point-of-sale system to track and manage transactions.
Compliance:
Follow health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures.
Adhere to company policies and protocols.
