Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers as they enter the restaurant or food service area.
Take customer orders, answer menu questions, and make recommendations.
Deliver food and beverages to tables, ensuring correct order.
Provide a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints or concerns promptly.
Food Preparation Assistance:
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation or replenishing food stations.
Ensure food items are presented properly and attractively.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
Set up tables with napkins, condiments, and utensils.
Empty trash and clean workstations as needed.
Handling Payments:
Process customer payments, whether in cash or via card.
Provide change and receipts for transactions.
Stocking and Inventory:
Ensure food and beverage supplies are stocked and ready for service.
