Description

A Food Attendant is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service by assisting with the preparation, serving, and cleanliness of food and beverage areas. They work in various settings, including restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, or event venues. Their main role is to create a welcoming environment for customers while supporting the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide menu recommendations. Ensure a positive dining experience by offering friendly and prompt service.
Food & Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring accuracy and quality. Deliver orders promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness of dining and food preparation areas. Clean tables, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
Order Taking & Processing: Take customer orders accurately, input them into the system, and relay information to kitchen staff.
Cash Handling: Process payments, handle cash, and provide accurate change. Maintain proper cash handling procedures.
Stock Management: Assist in ensuring the food service area is well-stocked with necessary items, such as napkins, condiments, and utensils.
Health & Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines to ensure food is handled and stored properly. Adhere to health and safety regulations in food handling and sanitation.
