A Retail Assistant provides customer service and support in a retail environment. Their responsibilities include assisting customers, managing stock, handling transactions, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance with their queries.
Help customers locate products and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
Process sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
Maintain product displays, ensuring they are neat, organized, and fully stocked.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damaged goods to management.
Assist in restocking shelves and arranging merchandise.
Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints with professionalism.
Ensure store cleanliness, including tidying up aisles and the checkout area.
