Job Title: Merchandiser

Job Summary

The merchandiser plans, sources, and oversees the display of products in stores to enhance customer experience and drive sales. This role involves collaborating with suppliers, buyers, and store teams to execute promotional strategies and optimize inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Planning: Analyze market trends, sales data, and customer preferences to determine product selection and stock levels.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Visual Merchandising: Design and maintain attractive product displays to encourage customer engagement and purchases.
• Supplier Relations: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate favorable terms.
• Sales Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Pricing and Promotions: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop pricing strategies and execute promotional campaigns.
• Store Visits: Regularly visit stores to ensure merchandising standards are upheld and gather feedback from store managers.
• Training and Support: Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
