Project Site Engineer, Isabela

A site engineer oversees day-to-day construction operations, acting as the main technical and management link on a project. They are responsible for interpreting technical designs, managing subcontractors, monitoring quality and progress, and ensuring that all work complies with safety standards and budget requirements

Core Responsibilities

• Technical Implementation: Set out the site, check levels and grades, and authorize technical drawings to ensure construction aligns with precise design specifications.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce rigorous health and safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship and material standards.
• Project Coordination: Liaise with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure necessary tools and materials are available when needed.
• Reporting & Documentation: Draw up work schedules, track daily progress, maintain site diaries, and compile regular reports for stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve complex technical or design challenges as they arise on site

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Licensure: Relevant professional board licensure (e.g., PRC license for civil engineers in the Philippines) is often a requirement depending on local regulations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using surveying equipment, CAD software, and project management tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, crisis management, and the ability to negotiate with suppliers
