Procurement Engineer, Isabela

I. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Purchasing Engineer is responsible Negotiating and managing contracts: Reviews items to be

procured and reviews bid documents; selects bidders, negotiates prices and quotations, and evaluates

alternate suppliers

II. DETAILED CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Source and evaluate suppliers.

Review technical specs and project requirements.

Prepare canvass sheets and cost comparisons.

Coordinate with engineers, warehouse, and site teams.

Monitor deliveries and ensure timely procurement.

Handle POs, DRs, and supplier documents.

Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for technical materials and equipment

Review engineering drawings and specifications to align purchases with project needs

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors

Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and compliance

Manage purchase orders and track inventory for project timelines

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams on procurement strategy

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations

Support continuous improvement initiatives in cost savings and supply chain optimization

III. REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

Licensed Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineer.

At least 2 to 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience.

Familiar with construction materials and BOQ.

Strong in cost comparison and supplier coordination.

Proficient in MS Excel and documentation.

Willing to travel and support project sites.
