Systems Developer, General Santos

The Systems Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software systems and applications that support business operations. The role involves analyzing user requirements, troubleshooting system issues, improving system performance, and ensuring data security and system reliability.

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications and information systems.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design system workflows, databases, and program structures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, bugs, and technical issues.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Integrate different systems and applications when necessary.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and reports.
• Conduct system testing, debugging, and quality assurance activities.
• Coordinate with users and departments regarding system requirements and enhancements.
• Ensure system security, backup, and data integrity.
• Provide technical support and user training when needed.
• Stay updated with current technologies, programming languages, and industry trends.
• Assist in system implementation and deployment activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field. Strong SQL programming skills, including writing complex queries and database optimization. Proficient in Crystal Reports development and customization. Knowledge of VB.NET and/or C# programming for SAP B1 add-on development. Experience in SAP Business One implementation or support is an advantage. Familiarity with Business Process Mapping and ERP workflows is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
