Purchasers and Canvassers, Davao del Sur

1. Identifying, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs
2. Negotiating contract terms, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company
3. Placing and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods
4. Monitoring inventory levels and identifying opportunities to optimize stock and minimise waste
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate procurement requirements
6. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities
7. Continuously seeking ways to improve procurement processes and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
2. Strong negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and pricing
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle time-sensitive situations
4. Proficient in inventory management and cost-reduction strategies
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
6. Familiarity with procurement software and tools to streamline processes
7. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
