Reactor Operator, Davao del Sur

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible in controlling and monitoring batch reaction process during transesterification of coconut oil with methanolto ensure consistent, high-quality CME production.

GENERAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Charge raw materials (e.g., coconut oil, methanol, catalyst) into the reactor.
• Start, monitor, and control batch reactions (temperature, pressure, mixing, time)
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each batch
• Ensure product meets CME/biodiesel specifications in coordination with laboratory
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical issues
• Record batch data (materials, conditions, yields, issues)
• Follow plant safety rules and chemical handling procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School/Senior High School Graduate or Vocational Graduate
• Ability to perform manual tasks such as material charging, and loading/unloading of raw materials
• Capable of following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions accurately
• Basic understanding of process or production documentation
• Willing to work in shifting schedules and in a plant/industrial environment
• Physically fit and able to work under varying plant conditions
