HR Generalist, Davao del Sur

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Staffing

Manage end-to-end recruitment: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.

Facilitate orientation and onboarding for new hires to ensure smooth assimilation.

Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

Act as a trusted HR point of contact for employees onsite and in production facilities.

Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and promote healthy work-place relations.

Implement engagement initiatives aligned with SIPIs values and goals.

3. Performance Management

Support execution of performance appraisal processes.

Assist managers in setting performance goals and monitoring development plans.

Track performance documentation and ensure timely evaluations.

4. Compensation, Benefits & HR Admin

Assist with payroll preparation and benefit administration (e.g., leave, statutory contributions).

Maintain employee records, HRIS, and compliance with data privacy requirements.

Administer company policies, procedures, and ensure consistent application.

5. Training & Development

Coordinate training needs analysis and support delivery of competency-building initiatives.

Monitor training attendance, effectiveness, and skills development outcomes.

6. Compliance & Policy Support

Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, company policies, and safety standards.

Support updates to HR policies and creation of SOPs reflecting best practices and operational needs.

7. Reporting & Analytics

Prepare regular HR reports (turnover, headcount, compliance, attendance).

Provide insights to support strategic workforce planning and operational decision-making.

8. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

Experience

At least 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, production, distribution, or similar industrial settings.

Experience with full-cycle HR functions, Philippine labor compliance, and employee relations.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE regulations).

Proficient with HR systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and HRIS tools).

Strong documentation, reporting, and data analysis skills.

Preferred
