Site Engineer, Davao del Sur

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising the on-site implementation of telecom projects, including mobile network sites, fiber deployments, and network infrastructure. The role ensures all construction and installation activities are executed safely and in accordance

with technical standards, quality requirements, and project timelines, particularly for Nokia and Ericsson-related rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily implementation activities (civil, electrical, telecom installation, cabling, and equipment works).
• Conduct site surveys, documentation, and pre-construction validation for mobile and fixed network projects.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure strict adherence to plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Evaluate on-site issues and provide immediate technical guidance and resolutions.
• Ensure all works comply with telco standards, especially for Nokia and Ericsson specifications.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, MOP (Method of Procedure), and installation guidelines.
• Validate materials and installation workmanship prior to acceptance.
• Conduct punch listing and monitor rectification works to ensure zero-defect delivery.
• Coordinate with client teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Prepare and submit site progress reports (daily and weekly), Site Diaries, As-Built Documents, and Quality Checklists.
• Attend site meetings and provide project updates, risks, and recommendations.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and integration activities for mobile and fixed network deployments.
• Support acceptance procedures and ensure all deliverables are completed prior to site handover.
• Coordinate with transmission and network teams for on-air and acceptance activities.
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure proper use of PPE and HSE standards.
• Ensure compliance with client, company, and local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (ECE, EE, CE, or related field) preferred but noT mandatory
• PRC License is an advantage but not required
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Site Engineer in mobile network and fixed network projects
• Preferably with Nokia and Ericsson project experience
• Understanding of telecom site construction, power systems, fiber, grounding, RAN installation, and testing
• Strong coordination, documentation, and reporting skills; proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
• Physically fit, willing to travel frequently, and willing to work extended hours or weekends if required
• High attention to quality and technical standards

• Leadership in supervising site activities and subcontractors
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Field-based role with regular travel to project sites
• Exposure to outdoor and construction environment.
