Key responsibilities

• Operations and supervision: Manage and supervise daily motorpool activities, including maintenance, repairs, and servicing.
• Maintenance: Oversee preventive maintenance schedules, ensure timely servicing, and inspect vehicles to authorize necessary repairs.
• Dispatch and scheduling: Coordinate vehicle dispatch, scheduling, and availability for various departments and projects.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate and updated records of all vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and inventory.
• Safety and compliance: Establish and enforce safety protocols, ensure vehicles comply with all regulations, and monitor driver compliance.
• Inventory and procurement: Monitor and manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
• Team leadership: Lead, train, and supervise mechanics, drivers, and other support staff.
• Cost efficiency: Analyze operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
