Seamstress/ Mananahi, Davao del Sur

The Sewer is responsible for sewing the sofa and pillow slipcovers of the Chairmakers Department

• Coordinates with production supervisor and process supervisor for daily job orders including priorities and demands
• Receives cut sofa and pillow slipcover from the sewing process head.
• Make sure sofa and pillow slipcovers are sewed properly and accurately.
• Maintains garment proportions while sewing.
• Ensures quality of material specifically on the sensitivity of fabric and must be handled carefully during sewing process
• Ensure sewing machine is functioning properly for smooth sewing process.
• Checks tools and equipment on a daily basis to avoid any accidents and damages.
• Checks sewing tools and equipment are complete before starting the work shift.
• Ensures production quota is achieved
• Maintains 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) system in their respective working area.
• Accomplishes any other tasks as required by the immediate head and/or by Top Mgt.

• At least High School Graduate
• Work Experience :At least 6 months to 1 year work experience in the related field
